“GSF has done remarkable work over the past nine years, and it is my privilege
to have been a part of that growth. Throughout my tenure, I worked to build and
strengthen relationships with city, county, and state leaders; school staff and
administration; local business leaders; and most importantly, parents and
students, Together, we were able to enhance our 7 articulation area schools and
make them some of the most sought-after schools in the district. It is a very
bittersweet transition for me, but I am confident in Amy’s leadership and passion
to continue to further our mission. I look forward to
continued success of GSF,”
said Kimberly Brock, outgoing GSF Chair.
“I am interested in this position because I am passionate about schools excelling,
and I love Golden,” said Amy Sundermann. “I have lots of connections within the
community businesses through the kids I have taught, and the families I've
connected with during my children's school paths. I know what teachers and
schools need to be great places to learn and teach,” continued Sundermann. "I
am excited to continue growing GSF's path in making our schools an amazing
educational journey."
