Launched in 2015, the Teaching Excellence program promotes improvements in student achievements and teaching excellence. Each school year, Golden Schools Foundation will donate up to $1000 per school to support release time for teachers. This time can be used for participation in professional development (job training) or peer collaboration sessions with colleagues at the school where they work or other Golden neighborhood schools. Schools that receive these donations agree to the outlined use of funds and accounting.
