Launched in 2024, GSF Parent Academies are an engaging workshop series designed to empower parents with the tools and knowledge to support their children in today’s complex world.
Each session offers practical strategies, expert insights, and real-world guidance to help families navigate modern parenting challenges with confidence and care.
GSF hosts the Parent Academy Series free of charge as a service to the Golden community.

March Parent Academy - Sleep Expertise for Child's Success and Wellbeing
Calling all parents and caregivers in Golden area schools! You're invited to the upcoming Parent Academy on March 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Golden High School Library.
Colorado State University sleep expert Natalie Rolle, who specializes in behavioral sleep treatments, will discuss how sleep is critical to your child's success and wellbeing.
The presentation will explore why sleep is essential for teen health, learning, mood, safety, and overall performance. Students & parents will learn how sleep affects the brain and body, what happens when they don’t get enough sleep or good sleep quality, and gold standard strategies for building healthier sleep habits and improving their sleep quality. By understanding the science of sleep and simple ways to improve it, students can boost their mood, energy, focus, and overall well-being. These skills can also set the students up for future success in their lives.
