February Parent Academy
Clearing the Air: Teen Vaping & Smoking Prevention and Cancer Risk
Join us for an enlightening and candid discussion aimed at helping parents and teens grasp the genuine dangers of vaping, smoking, and nicotine use.

Discover the contents of vape products, the impact on developing bodies, and the reasons they pose long-term health risks. Public health and other professionals will share teen success stories and provide tips on how to spot the signs of vaping, as well as evidence-based resources to help lower or quit nicotine use. Together, we can empower teens and families to make safer choices and clear the air for a healthier future!

Lutheran Hospital professionals will also share ways parents can reduce their cancer risk!

The Parent Academy series is presented by the Golden Schools Foundation, in partnership with GHS SRO Officer Hyde from the Golden Police Department. A heartfelt thank-you to Golden High School for hosting these important community events.
